Active children and youth do better in school than those who are less active.
In a recent study from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) they found out children and youth who are physically active will excel more in their academic performance in school. It has been researched children and youth who have some form of physical education in their school day will Initially do better academically and focus better in school, than those who cut physical education classes in schools. In addition it helps to reduce rowdiness, boredom, and overall it helps children and youth to stay focused and become physically active.
In ACSM's official journal, they studied 214 youth in middle school who were randomly assigned to have a P.E. class in one of their semesters in school. From the study the researchers were able to collect data on each one of the youth's physical activity levels from being in a P.E. class in school and how it affected them in and outside of the P.E. class. The study used their grades from english, history, math, and science, and how they changed while being in a P.E. class. In addition the youth who were involved in a P.E. class inside school were more likely to be more active and involved in a physical activity outside of school.

Get enrolled in a P.E. class, a sports class, a dance class, an aerobics class, or a weight lifting class. It only takes 30 minutes in a day to get all the energy you need to study, be awake, and fresh.
Through various studies it has been concluded if children and youth are physically active children they will do better in school, will be able to concentrate more, and most of all will be healthier that helps in return in reducing fewer behavior problems.
